Ink Refill Instructions for Kodak 10 C, Kodak EasyShare 5300

To refill the coloured cartridge, you need the following supplies:

  • 5 syringes with needles
  • ink: approx. 3ml each of cyan, magenta, yellow, photo-black ink and optimizer
  • adhesive tape

 

Remove the coloured Kodak 10 C cartridge from your printer and place it on the table in front of you (picture 1). Make sure that your workplace is well protected against staining. Put the needles on the syringes and draw in the recommended amount of ink or optimizer.

Refilling the Kodak 10 C cartridge, Kodak EasyShare 5300:

The filler openings of the cartridge are located underneath the label. Picture 2 shows you the correct colour allocation of the ink chambers. Insert the needle into the corresponding ink chamber (picture 3) and fill in the ink or optimizer. If the fluid leaks from the opening, draw approx. 1ml back into the syringe.

After refilling:

Thoroughly clean the filler openings and seal them with adhesive tape (picture 4). After refilling the cartridge, you have to exchange the chip that monitors the filling level.

Exchanging the chip:

Hold the Kodak 10 C cartridge as shown in picture 5 and push down the lever. Then carefully remove the chip (picture 6) and replace it with the new one.
Please make sure to insert the chip in the right direction (picture 7).

Your Kodak 10 C cartridge is now ready to print, and you can reinsert it into your printer.
