Refill instructions for Brother cartridge IN 710 color
For filling you need:
three syringes 5ml each, three needles 40mm, ink (cyan) 5ml, ink (yellow) 5ml, ink (magenta) 5ml, one cutter, tesa tape
To fill, proceed as follows:
Place the Brother cartridge on an absorbent surface (kitchen roll) during the filling process. Now cut the adhesive points between the lid and the cartridge with a cutter knife or sharp knife and remove the lid of the cartridge (see example 2).
Six openings are visible underneath (see example 3).
Draw up 5ml of ink with the syringe, max. 4ml with the smaller cartridges (no. 26 / 27).
For filling, insert the needle as deeply as possible into the filling holes (see markings Example 2) so that the filling in the sponge takes place from bottom to top.
When you see that the sponge is filled with ink, you can remove approx. 1/2 ml again.
Replace the lid on the cartridge and fasten it with a piece of tesa tape.
Leave the cartridge to stand for some time so that the ink can be optimally distributed in the sponge. After about 10 to 15 minutes, dab the print head several times onto a piece of kitchen roll. The cartridge is now full again and you can insert it into the printer.
Please note the following general information:
Never print the cartridges completely empty, but often refill them with smaller quantities of ink. This will prevent the nozzle from drying out and clogging, and the sponge inside the cartridge will remain smooth. After each refill, let the sponge cartridges rest on an absorbent surface for approx. 15 minutes. Never insert a dripping cartridge into the printer! Clean the print head of your cartridges from time to time with distilled water!
