Esterbrook Niblet Nouveau Blue, Gold, Fountain Pen

The Esterbrook Niblet is a compact fountain pen designed for everyday carry, yet it writes with the confidence of a full-sized instrument. Closed, it measures just around 10.8 cm and slips easily into a pocket or bag. With the cap screwed on and posted, it gains a well-balanced length and sits comfortably in the hand for longer writing sessions.

At its core is a JoWo #6 stainless steel nib - the same size used in the Estie line. It delivers a smooth, consistent ink flow and a clean writing line, while remaining fully interchangeable with other Esterbrook nibs. The Niblet can be filled with standard international cartridges or the included mini converter (not a standard-size converter).

The Esterbrook Nouveau Bleu fountain pen offers a layered interplay of deep blues and lighter tones. The marbled finish shifts subtly in different light, giving the pen a sense of depth without feeling overstated.

The barrel is crafted from high-gloss polished acrylic. The cap is threaded and, for writing, can be either posted by friction or screwed securely onto the end of the barrel. In place of a clip, Esterbrook uses a subtle roll-stop detail that keeps the pen in place while preserving its clean silhouette.

Each Niblet is presented in a retro-inspired gift box, which also includes a felt pouch - practical for carrying and everyday protection.
