HP 712 chip for magenta printer cartridge

The disposable chip for HP 712 ink cartridges resets the cartridge level indicator to "full."

The disposable chip fits the following ink cartridges:
HP 712 (3ED68A) magenta

For ink cartridges of the following printers:
HP DesignJetT 200 Series, T 210, T 230, T 250, T 630 Series, T 650 Series.

The HP 712 ink cartridge has a chip. When you have finished printing the cartridge, the original chip notifies the printer that the cartridge is empty. While this message can be ignored, doing so will result in the loss of the ink level indicator and, in the worst case, damage to the printhead. Therefore, replace the original chip with this disposable chip. The disposable chip remembers the last ink level when the printer is turned off and must be replaced when the printer indicates that the ink level is empty.

With the disposable chip, you have the same print range as the original HP 712 cartridges.

The chip for HP 712, 3ED68A, is replaced with the expired original chip on the cartridge and takes over the cartridge's ink level monitoring. It can be used once.
