Inks for HP TIJ 2.5, HP 45si thermal inkjet printer systems

HP TIJ 2.5 cartridges (HP 45si) are the most common thermal inkjet printing systems in the industry. The advantages of the system lie in its ease of use. The cartridges are easily exchanged and can be used vertically, horizontally and even upside down for marking and coding. When the cartridge is empty, it is simply removed from the printer and replaced with a new one. This can then contain a different ink colour if required.
Empty HP TIJ 2.5 cartridges can always be refilled. When choosing the right ink for your application, we distinguish between water-based and solvent-based inks. While water-based inks are primarily used on absorbent, porous substrates, solvent-based solvent inks are used on smooth substrates such as plastics, metals or glass. In addition, our inks have other variable properties that influence the colour, drying speed and adhesion to other substrates.
