Epson chip resetters and cartridge chips for refillable cartridges

An Epson chip resetter allows you to reset the electronically stored ink level of suitable cartridge chips after refilling. Once the reset has been completed successfully, the printer can recognise the prepared cartridge as full again. This category includes compatible resetters, replacement chip sets and single-use chips for many cartridge series and printing applications.

The available products cover widely used series such as Epson 202, 378, 405, 407, 408 and 503, as well as cartridges from the 16, 18, 24, 26, 27, 33, 34 and 35 ranges. You can also find solutions for T1281 to T1284, T1291 to T1294 and T9441 to T9444 cartridges. Dedicated resetters are available for professional ColorWorks TM-C3400 and TM-C3500 label printers and their corresponding SJI-C cartridges.

To perform a reset, the contacts of the resetter are positioned against the contacts on the cartridge chip. A compatible device generally uses an indicator light to confirm that the stored ink-level value has been reset. The correctly refilled cartridge can then be reinstalled. Replacement chips are useful when the original chip cannot be reset or when a new counter is required for a particular cartridge.

Always check the exact cartridge number, colour and printer series before selecting a product. Standard and XL cartridges may require different chips even when their housings appear very similar. The contact layout and chip generation must also correspond to the chosen resetter. Printer firmware updates can affect the recognition of compatible cartridges and should therefore be considered before use.
