Chip for Kodak 30 B ink cartridge black

The chip determines the useful life of each Kodak 30 XL black cartridge. By exchanging the chip, the cartridge is reset and will produce the same printing performance as usual. The chip is useable once.

Exchanging the chip for Kodak 30 XL:

The chip of the Kodak 30 XL cartridge is mounted in a chip mounting. Bend this mounting a little sideward and replace the old chip with this single-use chip. The cartridge can now be reinserted in the printer, and you can continue printing.

The chip for Kodak 30 XL cartridges has to be exchanged when the printer or the computer shows the message "Cartridge empty". We recommend exchanging the chip immediately when you refill the cartridge. This way, the cartridge will not fail suddenly during printing.
