The toner chip determines the useful life of each Samsung CLP 360, 362, 365, 366, 368, CLX 3300, 3305 cartridge. By exchanging the chip, the cartridge is reset. We recommend refilling the cartridge when exchanging the chip in order to achieve the full printing capacity. Otherwise, the cartridge may not be reset due to the lack of toner powder. In this case, the replacement chip does not work.

The toner chip is useable once.

Most cartridges with a toner chip will continue printing after refilling only if the toner chip is replaced.
