Octopus Fluids Document Inks are document-proof writing inks that have been specially developed for professional use in the office, especially for signing official documents and certificates.

Octopus Fluids document inks are waterproof, lightfast, smudge-proof, non-erasable and resistant to ethanol, hydrochloric acid, ammonia, bleach and most other chemicals in accordance with the requirements of DIN ISO standard 12757-2.

The independent institute PTS - Papiertechnische Stiftung Heidenau has tested all 9 inks for the aforementioned properties and certified their compliance in accordance with DIN ISO 12757-2. The inks therefore meet the requirements of the Dienstordnung für Notare/Notarinnen (DONot), specifications of the state ministries of justice, the Federal Budget Code, the service instructions for the registry office and the specifications of the Federal Medical Association in Germany.

They are therefore the ideal inks for notaries, judges, architects, employees in public authorities or for writing important exams with a fountain pen.

The finest pigments are used for the coloring. This allows you to achieve a strong typeface. The document inks differ from Octopus Write and Draw Inks in that they contain fewer binders. This ensures optimum ink flow and makes it easier to clean the fountain pen. Nevertheless, even with these inks, drying in the fountain pen should be avoided and it should be cleaned thoroughly before not using it for a longer period of time.
