Document-proof ink in an ink jar for fountain pens - with practical ink converter

The Octopus Fluids Document Inks are document-proof writing inks that have been specially developed for professional use in the office, especially for signing official documents and certificates.

  • Pigmented writing inks with high color brilliance, low feathering and very good flow properties
  • In accordance with the requirements of DIN ISO standard 12757-2, waterproof, lightfast, smudge-proof, eraser-proof and resistant to ethanol, hydrochloric acid, ammonia, bleach and most other chemicals.
  • Ideal inks for notaries, judges, architects, government employees or for writing important exams with a fountain pen.
  • With practical ink converter for easy ink refilling, suitable for all traditional fountain pens and fountain pens, school fountain pens and writing pens with standard cartridge system, which can hold 2 cartridges in their barrel.
  • MADE IN GERMANY - Only with vegan, gentle ingredients, manufactured by the Dresden-based ink manufacturer Octopus Fluids GmbH und Co KG.

The independent institute PTS - Papiertechnische Stiftung Heidenau has tested all 9 inks and certified their compliance with DIN ISO 12757-2. The inks therefore meet the requirements of the Dienstordnung für Notare/Notarinnen (DONot), specifications of the state ministries of justice, the Federal Budget Code, the service instructions for the registry office and the specifications of the Federal Medical Association in Germany.

With the enclosed ink converter, the writing color can be changed particularly easily and without ink cartridges. The converter is suitable for fountain pens with a standard cartridge system and fits in all fountain pens with a barrel that has space for two cartridges. It is not compatible with fountain pens from the Lamy, Montblanc, Parker and Waterman brands.

The document inks differ from the Octopus Write and Draw Inks in that they contain less binder. This ensures optimum ink flow and makes it easier to clean the fountain pen. Nevertheless, even with these inks, drying in the fountain pen should be avoided and it should be cleaned thoroughly before prolonged non-use.
