HP 953XL auto reset chips for black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink cartridges

The auto reset chips for HP 953 XL ink cartridges reset the cartridge level indicator to "full" back.

The chips fit the following ink cartridges:
HP 953 XL (L0S70AE) black
HP 953 XL (F6U16AE) cyan
HP 953 XL (F6U17AE) magenta
HP 953 XL (F6U18AE) yellow

For ink cartridges of the following printers:
HP Officejet PRO 7740 WF, PRO 8200 Series, PRO 8210, PRO 8218, PRO 8710, PRO 8715, PRO 8720, PRO 8720 Series, PRO 8725, PRO 8730, PRO 8740 and possibly other printers.

The HP 953 ink cartridge has a chip. When you have printed the cartridge empty, the original chip tells the printer that the cartridge is empty. This message can be ignored, but this leads to the loss of the fill level message and, in the worst case, to damage to the print head. Therefore, replace the original chip with this auto-reset chip. The auto-reset chip remembers the last fill level when the printer is turned off and resets itself automatically (when the status "empty" is reached) if you have removed the cartridge from the printer for 10 seconds.

If the reset is not initiated beforehand, you will have the same print range as the original HP 953 XL cartridges.

Auto-reset chip Change:

You can easily replace the original chip with the auto-reset chip for the HP 953 XL ink cartridge. Simply replace the old chip in the cartridge with the new auto-reset chip. You can then refill your HP cartridge as often as you like. The reset occurs automatically when you insert the cartridge into the printer. You no longer need a chip resetter and do not have to deactivate the ink level, nor do you have to deactivate the HP cartridge protection.
