Printer inks, refill inks for Canon GI-50, GI-51

These printer inks have been specially developed for Canon Pixma G 1520, G 1560, G 2520, G 2560, G 3520, G 3560, G 5050, G 6050, G 7050, GM 2050, GM 4040, GM 4050 MegaTank printers. The natural colour and print image of the original GI-50 or GI-51 ink has been preserved. The black and white printout is again more sepia with the Canon original ink. With the developed Octopus Fluids ink, the black and white printout is cooler, or actually black and white. The colour values of the three colours are matched to the original colours with a deviation of DEcmc<1.

No serious problems concerning the ink tank system or the print head occurred during development. A simple internal nozzle cleaning solved all problems.
The service life test over 2 weeks went off without a hitch. All ink colours of the refill inks and black printed without problems. No nozzle failure was visible in the nozzle print pattern. Even after 2 weeks of standing time, the printer was able to print large jobs and photo prints without any problems.

The Canon MegaTank printer has integrated ink tanks. Canon has set up a refill system where the GI-50 or GI-51 ink bottle is placed on the opening of the ink tank and then flows in. This bottle is not absolutely necessary, as the tanks can also be filled with a syringe and a little sensitivity.
