Description

Set of refillable cartridges with refill kits. A perfect alternative for original Brother LC-227, LC-225 cartridges for Brother DCP-J 4120 DW, MFC-J 4420 DW, MFC-J 4425 DW, MFC-J 4620 DW, MFC-J 4625 DW printer. Equivalent to approx. 17 original cartridges.

Scope of delivery:

  • 4 x refillable ink cartridges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow), empty, without ink
  • 1 x refill kit with 100ml of black pigmented ink for approx. five refills
  • 1 x refill kit with 3 x 50ml of cyan, magenta, yellow ink for approx. four refills each
  • 4x refill syringes with needles
  • latex gloves
  • instructions
  • cellulose swabs

Before purchasing, please check under the "Compatibility" tab that your printer model is included in the listing. If your printer is not listed, please select the appropriate cartridge set from our offer or contact our customer service.

Each of them has an auto reset chip which resets itself every time you replace the cartridge from your printer and by switching off the printer. In this way you can easily go on printing after every refill.

The entire set of cartridges has to be replaced. It is not possible to use individual refill cartridges combined with original cartridges of the Brother LC-227, LC-225 series.

The easy way to refill Brother LC-227, LC-225 cartridges! These cartridges are refilled by means of the lower filler opening. Remove the coloured plug and fill the cartridge. Then reinsert the plug.

Recommended filling volumes:
Black cartridge = 20ml
Colour cartridges = 15ml

The transparent plug at the top has to be removed prior to the printing process. This way, air can replace the ink used for printing; otherwise a vacuum is created that impedes the flow of the ink to the print head.

Please check that you use the correct ink for these cartridges! All-round inks or inks for other cartridge types may affect the operation of your printer and even damage the print head.

Liebes Octopus Team, ich möchte auf meinem Brother MFC-J4420DW gerne die Fill In Patronen verwenden, der Drucker hat die aktuellste Firmwareversion T installiert. Ist diese Firmwareversion mit den Patronen kompatibel? Vielen Dank und beste Grüße Rico Holland

Guten Tag, sollte es sich hierbei um die aktuellste Firmware-Version handeln (jünger als 6 Monate), kann es bei der Verwendung der aktuellen Fill In Patronen dazu führen, dass diese nicht erkannt werden. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Ihr Octopus Team

In May 2024, I ordered (invoice 181498336) a set of quickfill cartridges for my Brother MFC-J4620DW. Initially, the cartridges worked great, but suddenly (in the middle of a print job), the yellow cartridge is no longer recognized by the printer (the other cartridges still work fine). Since my printer still recognizes an original Brother yellow cartridge, I suspect that there is an issue with the chip of the quickfill cartridge. Please advise how this problem can be fixed.
