Description

Compatible to the following Brother printers: Brother DCP-J 562, MFC-J 1100 series, MFC-J 1140 W, MFC-J 1150 DW, MFC-J 1170 DW, MFC-J 1180 DW, MFC-J 480, MFC-J 680, MFC-J 880. These refillable cartridges replace the Brother LC-121, LC-223 cartridges.
 
Scope of delivery:
  • Refillable black cartridge for LC-221 BK (empty, without ink)
  • Refillable cyan cartridge for LC-221 C (empty, without ink)
  • Refillable magenta cartridge for LC-221 M (empty, without ink)
  • Refillable yellow cartridge for LC-221 Y (empty, without ink)

Before purchasing, please check under the "Compatibility" tab that your printer model is included in the listing. If your printer is not listed, please select the appropriate cartridge set from our offer or contact our customer Service.

Reset procedure:

When the printer sends the message "almost empty" (symbol: yellow circle with exclamation mark), the number of pages on the chip is close to zero, irrespective of the actual filling level of the cartridge. At this point, the chip cannot be reset yet. The printer sends the message "empty" (symbol: red circle with a white X) when the number of pages has counted down to zero. Now, the chip can be reset. We recommend refilling ink now, as well. After refilling, the chip is automatically reset.
 
The entire set of cartridges has to be replaced. It is not possible to use individual refill cartridges combined with original cartridges of the Brother LC-221 series.
 
The easy way to refill Brother LC-221 cartridges!
 
These cartridges are refilled by means of the lower filler opening. Remove the coloured plug and fill the cartridge. Then reinsert the plug. The transparent plug at the top has to be removed prior to the printing process. This way, air can replace the ink used for printing; otherwise a vacuum is created that impedes the flow of the ink to the print head. Please check that you use the correct ink for these cartridges! All-round inks or inks for other cartridge types may affect the operation of your printer and even damage the print head.

Ich habe eine Frage zu den Fill In Patronen für Brother LC-221 mit Autoreset Chips: Kann ich diese Patronen auch für Drucker mit neuer Firmware benutzen. Ich habe den Brother DCP-J562DW Firmware - K.

Unsere Fill In Patronen sind ausschließlich für die Werkseinstellungen und die ursprüngliche Firmware konzipiert. Mit neuen Firmwareupdates, die installiert wurden, kann mitunter der Chip nicht mehr gelesen werden. Das muss nicht zwangsläufig so sein, kommt aber sehr häufig vor. Wir können Ihnen daher keine Garantie geben, ob die Patronen mit Ihrem Firmware Update funktionieren werden. Sie können das nur ausprobieren, indem Sie vor dem Befüllen einmal alle leeren Patronen einsetzen und schauen, ob der Chip vom Drucker erkannt wird. Wie gesagt, das kann klappen, ist aber eher unwahrscheinlich. Eventuell finden Sie online noch einen Tipp, besagtes Update rückgängig zu machen, das wäre noch eine Option, die man probieren könnte. Ansonsten als Tipp für die Zukunft, wenn Sie beabsichtigen, selbst Ihre Patronen nachzufüllen, immer auf Updates am Drucker verzichten. Dann ist die Chance hoch, dass Sie mit nicht originalem Nachfüllmaterial gut zurecht kommen.
