The easy way of refilling Brother LC-229, LC-225 cartridges for Brother MFC-J 5320, MFC-J 5600 series, MFC-J 5620 DW, MFC-J 5625 DW, MFC-J 5720 DW!

Each of them has an auto reset chip which resets itself every time you replace the cartridge from your printer and by switching off the printer. In this way you can easily go on printing after every refill.

The entire set of cartridges has to be replaced. It is not possible to use individual refill cartridges combined with original cartridges of the Brother LC-229, LC-225 series.

The easy way to refill Brother LC-229, LC-225 cartridges! These cartridges are refilled by means of the lower filler opening. Remove the coloured plug and fill the cartridge. Then reinsert the plug.

Recommended filling volumes:

Black cartridge = 20ml

Colour cartridges = 15ml

The transparent plug at the top has to be removed prior to the printing process. This way, air can replace the ink used for printing; otherwise a vacuum is created that impedes the flow of the ink to the print head. Please check that you use the correct ink for these cartridges! All-round inks or inks for other cartridge types may affect the operation of your printer and even damage the print head.

Sehr geehrter Kunde, vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage. Hinweis zum Reset-Vorgang: Meldet der Drucker "fast leer" (Symbol: gelber Kreis mit Ausrufezeichen) ist die Seitenzahl des Chips fast heruntergezählt. Das geschieht unabhängig vom tatsächlichen Tintenfüllstand in der Patrone. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt lässt sich der Chip noch nicht zurücksetzen. Meldet der Drucker "leer" (Symbol: roter Kreis mit weißem X), ist die Seitenzahl gleich null. Erst jetzt lässt sich der Chip resetten. Dies erfolgt automatisch, indem Sie die Patrone entfernen und nach dem Auffüllen wieder einsetzen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Ihr Team von Octopus
