Managing HP 932, HP 933 serial numbers
For all we know HP printers with these cartridges memorise the last 2 serial numbers of the cartridges that where used.
A cartridge printed empty can be refilled twice and with ignoring the warning messages from the printer can be used to print normaly. But when trying it the third time the printer refuses to work properly. That is if you use the same cartridge three times in a row.
We recommend using different cartridges. Make sure that the cartridge you use is not bound to a special printer by the HP cartridge protection. That would limit the usability of the cartridge.
How to manage using refilled cartridges HP 932, 932 XL, HP 933, 933 XL
To avoid a printer that refuses to work it is best to have 3 sets of cartridges for HP 932, 933. To handle the correct order of the cartridges we recommend marking them. The 3 serial numbers for each colour make sure that in the fourth cycle of printing the printer does not memorise the serial number of the cartridge used first. In this way it is possible to use refilled HP cartridges in your printer by rotating continuously.

So far there is no possibility to reset the chip on the cartridge. But as with nearly all printers it is possible to disable or ignore the ink filling level indicator and continue printing.Another way is to exchange the original chip with a new one from us (see right). The ink filling level is correctly displayed afterwards.
