Refill Instructions for Kodak 30B, Kodak ESP C 100

Please read the instructions thoroughly before refilling.

For refilling, you need the following supplies:

  • syringe with needle
  • approx. 5ml of black ink
  • adhesive tape
  • replacement chip for Kodak 30 black

Preparation:

Remove your black Kodak 30 cartridge from your printer and place it on the table in front of you (picture 1). Make sure that your workplace is well protected against staining. Put the needle on the syringe and draw in ink.

 

 

 

 

 

Refilling the Kodak 30 cartridge, Kodak ESP C 100:

The filler opening is located underneath the label on top of the cartridge. Insert the syringe into the filler opening (picture 2). Carefully fill the ink into the cartridge. If ink leaks from the opening, draw 1-2ml back into the syringe.

 

 

 

 

 

After refilling:

Clean the filler opening and seal it with adhesive tape (picture 3). Make sure that the opening is sealed tightly. After refilling the cartridge, you have to exchange the chip that monitors the filling level of the cartridge.

Exchanging the chip:

Hold the Kodak 30 cartridge as shown in picture 3 and push down the lever. Then carefully remove the chip and replace it with the new one. Please make sure to insert the chip in the right direction (picture 4). Your Kodak 30 cartridge is now ready to print, and you can reinsert it into your printer.
