To ensure you follow the correct procedure, be sure to read the washing and care instructions on the textile label. The following instructions mainly refer to the transfer film we use. New textiles often contain excess dyes that can come out during the first few washes. To avoid discoloring other items of clothing, you should always wash them separately first. In addition, slight edges may appear in the fabric at the pressing point. These are caused by the transfer paper during the printing process and will completely disappear from the fabric after 1 to 2 washes.
Our Octopus sublimation ink can be washed on a gentle cycle up to 30 °C. Please always turn printed items inside out before washing. We advise against using fabric softener as this can attack the pigments and cause them to fade.
Printed textiles are generally not suitable for tumble drying. You can hang the textiles on the clothesline to dry.
You can iron your printed clothing inside out at low heat up to 110 °C. Do not expose the relevant areas to the heat for too long.
Printed textiles must generally not be bleached or chlorinated.
