Chip resetter and Octopus Fluids ink with refill syringes in a complete set. The chip resetter is able to restore the original cartridge status back to full.

The use is recommended for the following printer types:

Refill your Canon PGI-550 and Canon CLI-551 printer cartridges with original german high quality ink from Octopus Fluids® easily with the included syringes. Simply reset the chip on your cartridge and it can be used again. The ink was developed to match the specific characteristics given by the original ink. I would like to know a couple things, I'm not familiar with those products. Why does the chip reset "doc" (the red thing) exist if there is a chip you can swap over the canon one? And for how many uses does this chipsetter work?

Hello, Mr. Davide, Original cartridges must be reset so that the printer recognizes them as "full" after refilling. The red object is the resetter, as you can see in the video (the last picture of the article). You can use the resetter as often as you want. In general, however, we recommend using refillable fill-in cartridges. These will reset automatically after refilling when inserted into the printer, so you don't need a resetter. This is often cheaper. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service.
