This way Your refillable cartridges for Brother® will be recognized

When receiving Your refillable cartridges there is a black clip installed at the inspection window for the ink level. This black clip consists of two parts. Letter A shows that clip with the outer part and the smaller, inner part.

In case the refillable cartridge is not recognized please remove the smaller, inner part of the black clip. Without this smaller, inner part the refillable cartridge should look like as shown in the area marked B.

You can easily pry out that small part using a scre driver, a pen or a pair of tweezers. After removing the smaller, inner part of the black clip the cartridge will be recognized by the printer.
