Refill instructions for Brother cartridges IN 700
For filling you need:
syringe 10ml, one cannula 40mm, ink (black) 20ml, one pinboard needle
To fill, proceed as follows:
Extend the ventilation hole of the Brother cartridge with a pinboard needle (see example 1). You will then fill through this hole.
Mount the syringe with ink (black) and carefully insert the needle as deep as possible into the ventilation hole (see example 2).
Now slowly inject the ink into the Brother cartridge.
Make sure that the ink does not overflow. Sometimes the cartridges are not completely empty. In these cases, not all of the ink will fit into the cartridge.
Leave the Brother cartridge to stand for some time so that the ink can be optimally distributed in the sponge. After about 10 to 15 minutes dab the print head several more times on a piece of kitchen roll. The cartridge is now full again and you can insert it into the printer and continue printing.
Please note the following general information:
Never print the cartridges completely empty, but often refill them with smaller quantities of ink. This will prevent the nozzle from drying out and clogging, and the sponge inside the cartridge will remain smooth. After each refill, let the sponge cartridges rest on an absorbent surface for approx. 15 minutes. Never insert a dripping cartridge into the printer! Clean the print head of your cartridges from time to time with distilled water!
