Refill instruction Brother LC-129 using refill tool

You can refill Your Brother LC-129 cartridge clean and easy by using the refill tool BroLuer. Please remove the front part of the two-part housing. Without that cap on You have better control of the refill ink streaming into the LC-129 cartridge´s inner tank. And at the same time the chip on that cap is protected against any damages as it is removed from the working area.
There are two little openings in the front cap, in these two plastic hooks of the ink tank hold the front part of the housing in its place. Use a little screwdriver to press the hooks towards the rear end of the cartridge carefully. The front cap slides off easily as soon as these two hooks are loosened.

The best position for the air port is as shown in the following pictures. It should be located above the big part of the inner ink tank. The refill ink flowing in by the air port can reach the tank in the position below the air port directly.

Split the full amount of 50 ml refill ink to two fillings of the luer lock refill syringe. Each filling should be 25 ml. This is necessary as You must have way remaining for the syringe´s plunger to create negative pressure inside the ink tank.
Press the round connector of the refill tool mounted on the refill syringe in the air port. Pull the plunger out of the syringe carefully, air is sucked out off the cartridge
 and arises through the ink in syringe. Negative pressure is created inside the tank, let the plunger go and it slides back into the syringe while the refill ink is sucked into the LC-129 cartridge. Please repeat this procedure a couple of times. During refilling the second filling of 25 ml of the syringe You can see the ink level rising in the tank.

If there are 4 ml to 5 ml refill ink left in syringe it is the best way to refill them while holding the LC-129 in Your hand and tilting it to and fro. By tilting the cartridge the refill ink can reach all chambers inside the ink tank and You can fill in the whole quantity of 50 ml.
Final step - put back on the front cap of the Brother´s LC-129 housing. Press it on until the little plastic hooks click into their place inside the openings of the front part.
